The lesson is devoted to creating a unique image of a character. We will tell you how the plot and the environment affect the change in his design, what elements to add to better reveal the character and make him more understandable to the reader. We’ll break down the types of protagonists and villains and their differences from each other

Emotions of the character
We will show the basic techniques of drawing emotions. We will talk about basic emotions and mixed emotions, and learn how to combine them. We’ll look at examples on characters

Character movements
We will learn what body movements are and how to use them to express the character’s character, and will study visual methods of transferring movements on paper

Drawing Objects
We’ll cover how to draw single objects such as rocks, trees, clouds, and houses. We will touch upon the basics of composition, i.e. how to correctly place these objects in the drawing.

Composition in Comics
In this lesson we will study the basics of composition in comics, comic book formats and various techniques for creating a harmonious and logical picture

Decorating text in the comic book
We will learn how to properly design text in a comic book and draw sounds. We will learn what bubbles are and why they have tails, and how to use them correctly in the comic

Storyboarding and Design
We will learn what framing is and how to use it

Cover artwork
We will learn about the basic components of a cover, peculiarities of the cover composition and typography.
